february LIFESTYLE DESIGN WORKSHOP gals.
I am delighted by most people & curious about what makes them tick. I love making connections. I adore laughter. I crave honest friendships & the support that comes when people understand the true you. Soooo, when I started fleshing out my business goals for Stratejoy, I knew my desire to foster relationships had to play a central role.
Everything is so much more fun when you have a group of supportive, positive women along for the ride!
This is probably my favorite pillar of Stratejoy. Of couse, I dig Inspiration, Clarity & Accountability, but anything having to do with connections holds a special place in my heart.
Camaraderie, as defined by a variety of online sources, is
That’s right- we get loyal, warm, familiar & trusting friendships with the use of one word! It’s the fuzzy feeling of knowing people are on your side. That we’re all in this together.
Personal Development (which is the broad overarching term I use when someone asks me what Stratejoy is all about) can be lonely. You’re working on yourself in order to shine brightly, to better contribute, to share your authentic self. You’re tackling challenges & desires so you will be able to do more & be more in the world. You’re working hard to thrive.
It can feel like it’s you taking on the entire world sometimes, right?
And it’s exhausting. Especially when you feel like you’re all alone with your goals & audiotapes & guru web surfing. When you feel like perhaps no one else cares that you’re making an effort to connect with your personal version of success.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. Self realization is an amazing journey & it helps to have cheerleaders, listeners & impartial eyes along the way. In fact, it not only helps, it makes the whole darn thing more exciting! And more fulfilling!
In the very spot-on words of a workshop gal, “Turns out introspection does not have to be this mopey, sad thing that it always winds up being when I try to do it on my own. Who knew?”
Gather your group of comrades & tackle the work together.
Or hold tight to your seats & get ready for the emergance of Club ReFresh. It’s so close! Camaraderie here we come!
