I'm Maria and I'm a marketing diva who loves wine, food and friends and is seeking ways to help people tell their story (or the story of their company) to the world. Molly, the event was awesome, and it was so great to see all these gutsy gals in one place! Gutsy to me means not being afraid to try something new, especially if it's outside of your comfort zone. The best things have always seemed to be those which I was a little afraid to do - whether in work or in life! I never thought I'd start my own marketing consulting business Red Slice (www.red-slice.com), but then I did and I'm loving helping entrepreneurs create their new companies or spruce up the brand and messaging of the ones they already have - they are a constant inspiration. If I didn't have the guts to leave my well-paid corporate software career on the back burner, I never would have met these amazing women - or you! I have another friend who decided to go with another couple to a house they rent in France. She and her hubbie don't know them that well but had an amazing dinner with them - and they also differ from them politically. It is totally outside of her introverted comfort zone so that is exactly why she is doing it. She's bringing adventure into her life. Now that's gutsy!

Hi all! I'm Natalie and a gutsy girl to me is one that takes a chance at something she knows nothing about. Having the strength to know what she wants and to do the best in it.

My gutsy girl experience happened when I was at school and saw an advertisement about an organization on campus. I had no idea what it was but I wanted to do something different and take an active part at my school. That's exactly what I did; I was interviewed and received my position on the Student Events and Activities council where we put on events for students by the students. It was tough at first getting used to all the tasks required but now I look back as vice president of the organization saying to my self, "WOW I am so happy I took a chance on something I knew hardly anything about!"

Hi! I'm Lacey, a curious foodie who loves adventures with her husband, and is seeking a fulfilling and flexible career in the culinary realm. Gutsy to me is having confidence to make progression towards a dream while molding the dream along the way. I started my gutsy road by launching a food blog! www.lovinglocalfood.com
