Team Stratejoy

Stratejoy is for Gutsy Girls, so it’s only natural that Gutsy Girls help keep it rockin’.  As with every community, there’s a whole lot of work that goes into Stratejoy behind the scenes and    we’ve finally put together a Team to really bring the bigger vision of Stratejoy to life. More groups, more online course, more community projects are ALL coming your way.

Meet: Team Stratejoy.  These are the amazing ladies who help run the show and take care of all of the little (and big!) details that allow Stratejoy to keep on giving you the resources, inspiration and community you need to navigate through the Quarterlife Journey.  Each one of these women have been involved in Stratejoy through groups, events or courses and I’m thrilled to have them on board. It takes a passionate soul and pure heart to give your time and talent to an organization you care about and I’m honored they have chosen to share their skills with us.

KAHEA PACHECO, Product Development, Writing/Editing

I’m a twenty-something academic nerd and researcher, currently living in the Bay Area via Seattle and Hawai’i.  I came to Stratejoy shortly after graduating from law school, when I found myself lost, unhappy and trying to ignore the scary realization that I didn’t want to be a lawyer and my entire Plan A for life was all wrong.

So, recognizing my QLC, I dived into the Joy Equation and began getting to know myself again.  Since then, I’ve also beta tested Joy Juice and taken part in one of Molly’s group coaching sessions.  While still a little unsure about a lot of things, I’m leaning toward a career working to support indigenous people fighting environmental injustice in their communities.

I’m obsessed with: healthy lifestyle blogs, Hart of Dixie and Bones, cozy fall clothes, my dog, and iced mochas.  You can find me tweeting here and blogging here.  My Mission is to find balance in my life, and to live as big and as boldly as I’ve always dreamed.

 NICOLE CATALANO, Community Project Coordinator 

I’m a recovering performing arts junkie who is experimenting with life in the 9-5 world. A learning and development vigilante for the healthcare industry by day, she is a vlogger and competitive mini-golfer by night. You can often find Nicole atop her soapbox spreading the word about the value of making strong connections online and the life altering perks of bringing them offline. Nicole lives, works, eats, plays and runs in Boston, Massachusetts.

I found Stratejoy back in Season 2 of the QLC bloggers and became hooked when I realized that simple questions like “What’s the worst that can happen?” and “Well, why not?” could turn my world upside down. Or right side up even. Stratejoy has provided me support and a good kick in the behind when I’ve needed it most.

My current obsessions include cold weather running, nutella, pumpkin beer and learning how to live well with less. You can find me on twitter, facebook and a couple of places on YouTube.


MICHELLE BIZON, Product Development, Audio/Video

I’m a communications professional living in the Greater Philadelphia area. I put my journalism experience to good use by working on audio and video for Team Stratejoy’s product development projects.

After stumbling upon Stratejoy in mid-2010, I finally had a name — The Quarter Life Crisis— for the debilitating struggles I had been running from for months. (OK. Cue the Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith: “Now this is a story all about how / my life got flipped, turned upside down.”)

So, I did some soul-searching and has been making it a priority to live life on my own terms ever since. At any given moment, I can be probably be found cheering on the Phillies, obsessing over “NCIS” or climbing a rock wall … and tweeting about said endeavors.

MORGAN HAINES, Graphic Design

I am a graphic designer by day and internet addict by night (ok sometimes during the day too).

Quite literally stumbling upon Molly and Stratejoy couldn’t have come at a better time. Stuck in a terrible job that I hated, I was desperate to find the joy in my life again which Stratejoy helped me do.

Though still searching for the right professional path, I’ve learned to focus on what makes me smile and get involved with things I am passionate about and fulfill my soul. I’m currently obsessed with Pinterest, fall TV, travel, finding the perfect pair of grey boots, and my blog - Internet Therapy.
