A Business Coaching Group with Molly Mahar
We are sold out for the Winter Round of GIOTG.
Want me to keep you posted on the registration for the next session? Sweet! Enter your email address below.
Who is this for? Anyone who wants to (lovingly) push something forward! You want to finally get that business idea off the ground. You want to take your freelancing more seriously. You’re ready to really kick some ass on your next big project. You want to make the side hustle dream a reality. Your business feels stalled and you want to revamp your outlook and refine your process.
It’s part biz mentorship and advice.
It’s part rapid forward movement.
It’s part coaching around fears, desires, and motivation.
I’ve had designers, novelists, coaches, freelance writers, yoga teachers, online retail shop owners, day jobbers with side hustles & educators excel in this program. For this group, it’s not the kind of lifestyle business that matters — it’s the readiness of the woman behind it!
In addition to our calls and my challenges for you, you’ll also be committing to your own personal action items each week to move your business/project forward. Need to host your first event? Create an auto-responder? Put together a social media plan? Make sales calls? Finally get your site live? I’ll help you with the details and the group will hold you accountable and celebrate the completion of your tasks!
You’ll get more done in our 8 weeks together than you thought possible…
I wish someone had taught me all this my first year of Stratejoy.
Launching Stratejoy back in 2008 was a huge leap for me.
<—- That’s me with my first Mac in my first co-working space in my first “month of business!” Looking a little scared, eh?
I had never been a blogger. I didn’t hang out with business owners. I knew absolutely nothing about social media, promotion or public relations. I dove in with enthusiasm and endless passion for working with women, but that was about it. I stumbled my way through those first 9 months (while still working a full time job) trying in vain to sell my very first 4 week workshop in Seattle. It took 3 attempts, a lot of swallowing of my pride, and finally, some wise business advice from mentors, but I finally had 3 amazing women take a chance on me!
Over the next year or so, I cobbled together role models and started studying online businesses in a big way — but I could never find one resource that pulled together my personal growth as an entrepreneur (the worries! heartache! the need to play bigger! countering the ickiness factor of selling myself!) with the growth of my business (online resources, speaking, productivity planning, pricing, hiring).
Fast forward to 2010 — As my profits grew and my audience expanded, women started asking me for business advice! Me? I still felt like I’m was in the trenches half the time, learning by trial…
But I was reminded of the clueless feeling of my first year in business.
I absolutely needed someone to:
- Guide me through aligning my heart with my business
- Lay out a plan of action that resonated with me
- Cheer me on while keeping me accountable and productive
- Give me smart business advice
As I remembered how hard (and scary) it felt to do it alone — I became determined to come up with a solution for those women asking me for advice about how I had done it. Get It Off the Ground was born in September of 2010. This will be the 7th time I’m privileged to offer this life-changing coaching group.
This group has made the difference between just dreaming and actually doing (in an empowering and heart-centered way) for women like you. Seriously. But don’t take my word for it…
Are YOU ready? I can’t wait to meet you and hear all about your big idea!
I signed up for this group coaching because I wanted to “go, decide, produce, push”. I’m a newly minted entrepreneur with a lot of ideas and I was anxious to improve my efficiency and get things moving! Little did I know these weeks would totally alter my outlook. Your homework assignments, the support system we created, and the reflection you encouraged combined to soften and strengthen me in a big, big way. I’m not much for asking for help, acknowledging my wishes and feelings, or slowing down with intention, but through the GIOTG workshop, I’ve been learning how to do all three.

I’d been reading Molly’s blog for awhile and when the opportunity came up about the GIOTG coaching, I signed up immediately! My goal was to step over that line from the corporate world to starting my journey as an entrepreneur. After the 8-week program with Molly’s guidance, asking the questions you never thought to ask yourself and getting to the nuts and bolts of what your business is about, I am so excited to say that I achieved my goal! As a bonus, I have 6 new inspiring friends. GIOTG will strengthen you professionally and personally.

WHY GROUPS?
Short answer? I love groups because they are supportive, joyful, and hotbeds of connection and learning. You’ll learn as much from the experience of other entrepreneurs & side hustlers as you will from me!
Long answer? I know (from experience teaching many groups) that you are not alone in your questions, concerns or fears. I know that there’s no need to recreate the wheel. I know that you’ll get more done together than you’d ever get done alone! There’s a sense of boosted motivation in knowing that 7 other amazing women are working through the same process as you are. I know that committing yourself to change and forward movement is easier within a group setting, especially for us uber-connected Millennials. With group coaching, you get a tight knit community in which to share struggles, celebrate wins, and be held accountable.
My groups are small enough that everyone gets one-on-one attention from me on each call.
WHY STRATEJOY?
If you’re looking for positive women in their 20s and 30s who are interested in personal development and growth, living life on their own terms, and going after the big dreams, without putting on airs or bullshitting about their perfect lives, you’ve found the right place. We get real. It can get messy… There’s always laughter and sometimes a few tears. You’ll get off your call each week feeling stronger, more in touch with yourself and your idea or business, and motivated to tackle the work ahead.
Getting “Your Big Idea” off the Ground is something I’m totally passionate about and feel lucky to have done with Stratejoy when I was 27!
I want to share that with you.
When I signed up for the Get It Off the Ground Group, I had just decided to quit my job and start my own business. I was excited and terrified at the same time. I needed to talk about this with people who would understand what it means to finally DO IT. It was liberating to discuss my dreams and goals with like-minded people – we encouraged each other like crazy!I don’t think I would have accomplished so many things this pas Fall without GIOTG. It injected a huge dose of stamina into my veins!GIOTG was also the perfect mix of personal and business work. I love that we talked self growth just as much as business growth. Being an entrepreneur, who you are has a direct influence on your business and there’s no way I could work only on business growth without diving into the depths of who I am and what I want. Now I know my action plan is in line with what I want for myself, for my career and for my life.

Molly is the business-savvy mentor with the bubbly older-sister personality that I never had. Molly’s expertise and the Get it Off the Ground curriculum challenged me to take a small idea and to rocket it into action.
At first I was nervous to sign up. So many questions ran through my head: would the investment be worth it? Will I have enough time in my schedule? Who would the other participants be? All of my questions were covered within the first call. Molly structured the class to teach various lessons across the 8-weeks including ideation, self-reflection, project planning, experimentation, and execution.
Every week Molly structured the call with an organized methodology. She let US talk and respectfully pushed each of us to take action. She challenged us and held us accountable for the weekly action items. She believed so strongly in the power for each member of the group to find their own path to succeed. The activities we completed on a weekly basis made us confront our fears and take action to get over them. It was scary at first, but the support we had in each other and from Molly gave us confidence to move forward with our projects and businesses. We kicked old bad habits out the window and replaced them with positive, action-oriented thoughts!
If you have a lingering idea and are thinking about doing something, DO IT. Get it Off the Ground was the launch pad to get my idea in motion, and it can be for you too. Take the leap!

I love’s me some Molly! I was at a “stuck” spot with my business, Lionheart Yoga Training, and I found Molly’s coaching and the group class so very helpful in giving me some great new strategy ideas. I loved the support and accountability of a group of other kickbutt gals, and weekly homework kept me motivated. Molly is an excellent, joyful leader who combines the rare traits of firm motivation with compassion to inspire you to be your best self. If you are looking to juice up 2012 with a kick, I highly recommend any of Molly’s classes.

Molly,
I hope your life is dreamy — it seems way too long since I had the luxury of weekly Molly-isms every Tuesday night.
Thanks for the well-wishes; I included you on my email with our “life update,” on a whim, because quite honestly… you and the GIOTG training were a big part of the impetus for this cross-country move. I wanted you to know the role you played.
I’ve always been a bit risk-adverse, and so while my dreams have been BIG my actions have been modest. Then Stratejoy happened and all of a sudden… I’d changed. Instead of fearing change, I began to crave growth. Instead of defaulting to familiar, I longed for adventure.
The offer of moving to NYC came up several months ago. I had a brief spark of interest, followed by my usual cloud of stress/worry/anxiety. But after GIOTG (and Joy Juice) we got a follow-up offer, and I whooped and said “FUCK YES.” I’ve quit the corporate gig, have my finished manuscript that is ready to rock the literary world, started a new blog, and I wake up every day more alive than I’ve been in years.
So — thanks. You inspire in ways you don’t even realize. If you’re ever in NYC, please let me know – I’d love to buy you a drink and toast to MOLLY.
Devoted, Lauren

I want to YOU be part of this, so if there’s something holding you back – Let’s get it handled. Seriously. Do you need a different payment plan? Let me know. Are you unsure if your idea/project/business would be appropriate for this group? Ask me.
Having support, guidance, and a group of similar chicks makes all the difference. I promise. Don’t give yourself an excuse not to move radically forward these next 8 weeks. Make the investment in yourself, love. These 8 spots will move fast.
We’ll be jamming soon!
XOXO
